Situated on one acre of private, tranquil waterfront on rural Denman Island, it is an ideal retreat for wildlife viewers, birders, storm watchers, writers, artists, photographers, honeymooners. Enjoy the sunrise from your bed, or view whales, sealions, otters, seals, harlequin ducks, eagles from the deck or living room. Step onto beach or nearby walking trails.

 

We value your comfort:  The suite is bright and airy, furnished with a Queen sized bed, high-quality bedding and towels. Keep cozy in the shoulder season with electric baseboard heaters, extra blankets and pillows, as well as a heated mattress pad with dual controls for those chilly nights. Complimentary coffee and tea are always available.
 


We value your privacy: our self-contained, non-smoking room is detached from main house with separate entrance. You can elect to enjoy breakfast in the privacy of your own room, or alfresco on your  private oceanside deck. There is no TV or phone to distract you, only the sights and sounds of the ocean and forest.

Your convenience is important, too: We have onsite parking for one vehicle, and a secure boathouse, in case you'd like to bring your own canoe or kayak.  The suite is equipped with everything you need: bar fridge, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, basic tableware, glasses and cutlery for snacks.


Handmade touches are everywhere: from the hand-painted tiles in your ensuite, to the quilted bedcover and original artwork on the walls.

We are pet friendly: The entire yard is fenced, leaving lots of off-leash room for you and your puppy to play.
